Body awareness and movement exploration are fundamental for the development of emotional regulation and self-confidence in childhood. Dance is a practice that fosters this process in a playful yet profound way, offering children a space to get to know their bodies, express their emotions, and develop creativity, sensitivity, and self-assurance.
Contemporary dance Classes
for children
Mila Mogui
The aim of the classes is to promote and enhance children's body awareness and creative expression through movement. The activities are structured around exercises in body awareness, rhythm, motor coordination, exploration of different movement qualities, observation, improvisation, and body expression, also encouraging free dance as a space for play and discovery. We seek to awaken and expand the body's sensory, motor, and expressive capacities, fostering the development of creativity, autonomy, and a sensitive relationship with one's own body and movement.
