Dance for Children

Joane Bittencourt

These classes aim to introduce modern and contemporary dance to children between the ages of 4 and 8. Isadora Duncan's technique will be taught, as well as elements of contemporary dance, combining exercises that work on children's rhythm, coordination, weight use, and flexibility. Imagination and visualization activities will also be included, as well as improvisation and creation games, both individual and group. Through a playful approach, the classes seek to foster the development of body awareness and expression in children.
