INSTRUCTOR

 

Joane Bittencourt holds a degree in Dance from the Federal University of Bahia. In 2008, she joined Forrozeando, a pioneering forró group in Salvador, where she taught for seven years. Joane is also a singer and member of the band Raízes Forró Clube. In 2020, Raízes F.C. released their first EP, titled "Aguaceiro," on major digital platforms such as Spotify, Deezer, and Apple Music. Raízes has also participated in FENFIT (Festival Nacional de Forró de Itaúnas) three times, reaching the final twice, and Joane was nominated for Best New Female Artist in 2016.
