​​​​Forró Delas is a group for women learning, sharing, and practicing forró. Classes provide the technical foundations for each student to develop their own dance style. Practice sessions allow for gradual assimilation of the technique. Beginners and advanced students are welcome!

 

INSTRUCTOR
Joane Bittencourt holds a degree in Dance from the Federal University of Bahia. In 2008, she joined Forrozeando, a pioneering forró group in Salvador, where she taught for seven years. Joane is also a singer and member of the band Raízes Forró Clube. In 2020, Raízes F.C. released their first EP, titled "Aguaceiro," on major digital platforms such as Spotify, Deezer, and Apple Music. Raízes has also participated in FENFIT (Itaúnas National Forró Festival) three times, qualifying for the finals twice, and Joane was nominated as a female breakthrough artist in 2016.
